Bob Danz

Bob Danz is the regional chief financial officer (CFO) of Optum Care Pacific Northwest. He is responsible for the day-to-day finance and accounting functions in the Washington and Oregon markets. He joined Optum in 2002.

Danz has held a variety of roles during his more than 20 years in health care. These include finance, operations, product management and consulting. He was also the CFO of the multi-billion-dollar wellness and population health business units of Optum.

In addition, Danz led business operations for the research and development group’s large-scale initiatives. Earlier, he spent almost a decade building and leading multiple finance and accounting teams for Optum Financial Services.

Danz began his career in public accounting. He is a certified public accountant (inactive). He has a bachelor’s degree in management and accounting from Luther College.
